EDGE2010 will be opened by Jim Mather MSP, Minister for Enterprise, Energy and Tourism on Thursday 25th February. We are indeed privileged to have Mr Mather join us.  Our delegates will be hospitably welcomed by our Government representative and in turn we will endeavour to make Mr Mather’s visit as rewarding as possible.

The days are counting down quickly and there are now only a few places left, so if you haven’t booked on, please do so as soon as possible!!

Only 11 days left!

Have you booked your place yet? Better hurry as there are only a limited number of places left!

We are getting emails daily from many countries, congratulating us on the line up of speakers and wishing to be kept informed of future events! The networking and relationship building has begun already with three of our experienced managers being interviewed by one of our speakers, Michael Porter, on how libraries can differ in other countries, even though they speak the same language and share much of the same cultures. This will soon be broadcast online on Michael’s  Libraryman blog.

It’s all very exciting stuff!!!!!!

So book your place NOW and I can welcome you personally to EDGE2010.

20 days to go!!

The ripple effect of the conference has really surprised me! We believe this conference will really widen library and information services circle of influence. New delegates are registering daily from disciplines as diverse as Policy and Strategy, Journalism, Education, Leisure, Universities and Health. The geographic locations of participants is equally diverse from the Shetland Islands and Highlands to across the UK including Devon and York. Worldwide we will be welcoming people from Luxembourg, North America and even the deep south of New Zealand!

Looking forward to meeting you all soon.
